This work describes research that aimed to characterise the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in supporting students with special educational needs by teachers in the public school system of the city of Manaus, while the author was pursuing a Master’s degree in Special Education at the University of Minho in Braga, Portugal, based on his Master’s thesis.
