As the author of the book, I have two young daughters of my own, and I have done hundreds of hours of research on how my role will forever affect their lives. I have read books, watched videos, researched statistics, and done all that I possibly can to learn about the critical role a father plays in the development of his daughter. So much of that research is embedded into this children's book! I’ve learned that my role is just as important as my wife’s when it comes to raising my girls to become confident, kind, faithful, happy, and safe young women. Little girls don't just want their fathers to be there...They NEED their fathers to be there! This book gives dad the opportunity to read those phrases that fathers don’t always say to their daughters, but they are the exact phrases that every daughter needs to hear from their dad. Regardless of your home-life situation, I passionately believe that raising expectations for the father in a family, especially with young girls, is not only what is right in the eyes of God, but it should be a high priority in every family no matter what faith or religion you practice! This book (and the other books in the “I Will Always...” series) is the first gift to give to any father expecting a little girl of his own, and it should be a staple in every household raising a young daughter as it will help to educate and connect fathers to their little girls for a lifetime. From birth to adulthood and every step along with way, 'I Will Always Teach You' outlines dad's responsibilities in the life of his daughter and gives her the comfort and confidence of knowing exactly what to expect from dad as she grows.
