Der große Stoffumfang bedingt eine gedrängte Darstellungsweise, die dennoch alle wesentlichen Überlegungen erkennen läßt... Für das Selbststudium mag diese Darstellungsweise vielleicht manchem zu knapp erscheinen. Wer jedoch bereits einige Vorkenntnisse auf den behandelten Gebieten besitzt, dem wird das Buch von großem Nutzen sein. Er findet darin für die angesprochenen Probleme eine exakte, zuverlässige Darstellung des Sachverhaltes im Rahmen der klassischen Mechanik.'VDI-Z
