In hoc libro, Eckhart investigat etymologiam vocabulorum Germanicorum, quae ex linguis antiquis et recentioribus proveniunt. Opus est diviso in tres partes, quarum prima de origine etymologica linguae Germanicae tractat, secunda de vocabulis Germanicis ex linguis Graeca et Latina derivatis, tertia de vocabulis Germanicis ex linguis Orientalibus provenientibus. Eckhart haud solum vocabula investigat, sed etiam historiam linguae Germanicae exponit, eamque cum linguis aliis comparat. Historia Studii Etymologici Linguae Germanicae est opus eruditum et utilissimum, quod adprehendere debent omnes, qui de lingua Germanica accurate discere student.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
