La Guía de los descarriados o Guía de los Perplejos es una obra publicada en 1190 por Maimónides, una de las autoridades más importantes del periodo medieval.Conforma una de las obras filosóficas judaicas más importantes de dicho autor ya que constituye las bases de la interpretación del Judaismo de manera filosófica. Esta obra revela la visión religiosa de Maimónides de la profesión que desempeñaba: la medicina. Así, Maimónides defendía que atender a los enfermos era casi un mandato religioso ya que curar el cuerpo suponía curar el alma, utilizando para esto último lo que hoy día conocemos como musicoterapia, siendo un visionario. Todo ello le conllevaría tener una gran reputación como médico.
