So often we launch into prayer without thought of first taking the necessary steps to approach the presence of God in a manner that honors Him. We desire the kind of communion that Adam and Eve experienced in the Garden, yet we walk away many times feeling as though we have not touched the heart of God.God’s Path to Intimacy leads us through the steps the priests were instructed to take when approaching His presence. If we follow God’s pattern for worship, we will move through the Outer Court of Thanksgiving into the Holy Place and into the Holiest of All. We are granted an audience with the King, and through these steps we will honor and touch the Heart of God. In our time of prayer at the Altar of Incense, we will have the opportunity to pray for those who are on our heart. God’s Path to Intimacy has provided a place for you to develop your own prayer photo book within this book. By creating your own photo book, you will have a daily reminder to pray for the needs of family and friends as you look at each photo. Included in God’s Path to Intimacy are twenty-five spiritual aids that can assist you in understanding more of the many issues that Jesus spoke about. They give us deeper knowledge of such issues as brokenness, temptation, perseverance, and trust. Each topic has laid a biblical foundation and is followed by a scriptural prayer.

Reconsideration by Richard Bauckham has suggested that the author was a Jerusalem disciple who housed the ''Last Supper.'' This book explores the possibility that he was present...

  • Through the years with prince charming
    Paul du Quenoy
The past decade has overflowed in a raging stream of contradictions. Old certainties have yielded to relentless insecurity over a time when much of the human experience got immeasurably better even as many things only ever seemed to get worse. As Paul du Quenoy’s globetrotting criticism reveals, the arts were in a ferment that matched profound and yet totally unpredicted social...

In 1759, the court of the Italian Duchy of Parma adopted the inspiration of cultural creators who recommended a reform of Italian opera along French lines. Loomis shows in this groundbreaking volume, the you...
