Living in the 21st century is becoming harder and harder everyday. The right has become wrong and the wrong has become right and most of us are so desensitized; hence, we are indifferent. We are bombarded by sad news about catastrophes, tragic events, wars and rumors of wars and it seems like we have lost our humanity and life has been reduced to nothing. Mother Nature has become so un merciful to the very people she has sustained over the years causing atrocious disasters unknown to this generation such as hurricane Katrina and the Tsunami to name a few. Some companies are posting $39 billion in profits while millions are dying from starvation. Leaders are seeking $245 billion to fight senseless war while millions of people are living below poverty line. More and more companies that have thrived in darkness stealing from unsuspecting citizens are being brought in the open. More and more preachers who have been practicing immorality in secret closets are being exposed. Human trafficking, child pornography, slave sex trade and the spirit of lust has taken over the world. We have become less than animals. Our generation has become the modern day Sodom and Gomorrah society where anything goes. What really is happening in the world today? Where are we on the calendar of God? Are we paying attention to the last days prophecies? Are we too drunk with our own lusts to listen to God and to pay attention to what is happening around us? This book will challenge you to pay attention to the signs of the end of times. This book will push you to your bended knees in total surrender to God. This book will leave you hungry craving to have an intimate relationship with God. God is Speaking Everyday: Are you Listening?

The Gospel of John was long assumed to be the work of an eyewitness, usually identified as John, son of Zebedee. More recently, many have judged it the unhistorical product of a ''Johannine community.'' Reconsideration by Richard Bauckham has suggested that the author was a Jerusalem disciple who housed the ''Last Supper.'' This book explores the possibility that he was present...

  • Through the years with prince charming
    Paul du Quenoy
The past decade has overflowed in a raging stream of contradictions. Old certainties have yielded to relentless insecurity over a time when much of the human experience got immeasurably better even as many things only ever seemed to get worse. As Paul du Quenoy’s globetrotting criticism reveals, the arts were in a ferment that matched profound and yet totally unpredicted social...
  • Tommaso Traetta and the Fusion of Italian and French Opera in Parma
    George W. Loomis
In 1759, the court of the Italian Duchy of Parma adopted the inspiration of cultural creators who recommended a reform of Italian opera along French lines. These writers favored combining Italian-style music with the wider range of musical genres and scenic variety of French opera. As the music critic and commentator George W. Loomis shows in this groundbreaking volume, the you...

And we all know that there are so many things in life that seems so unfair. There are so many tragedies that none of us have control over. There are so many traumas that can leave an...

Everyone has suffered and has been afflicted with something horrible at one time of their life or the other. The question is: are we going to use any roadblock that is put in our path by the tragedies of life as an excuse as to why we are not getting up from the bed of a victim or are we going to rise up from the ashes of pain and use the anger to kill that very defiant giant ...
