I almost lost my life at thehands of a violent partner in 2018 and then, after that, I was sexuallyassaulted as an adult-keep in mind I had been sexually assaulted by twoindividuals when I was eight. However, God spoke to me and told me toremember to never give up. And, because of my faith in God, I did notgive up, and I will never give up.After going through everything I went through, I got baptized as an adult.As a child, I read the Bible; however, after going through everything Iwent through as an adult, I reread the Bible again as an adult.Many individuals believe God wants us to be perfect, therefore, so manyindividuals do not think they can have a relationship with God, but Iam here to tell you that is not the case. God wants to meet us where weare, and He wants to be a part of all areas of our lives. God does not seekfor us to be perfect. God wants to build a relationship with you, and heaccepts you as you are.
