Die Erforschung von Glutaminsäureanaloga als potenzielle Antineoplastika begann in den 1970er Jahren in den Laboren. In Fortsetzung dieser Forschungslinie wurden mehrere substituierte Amine hergestellt und biologisch untersucht. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Reaktionsarbeiten lag auf der Synthese von Glutaminsäureanaloga und der Suche nach einer verbesserten antineoplastischen Wirkung. Die Struktur der synthetisierten Verbindungen wurde mithilfe von IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, Massenspektren und Elementaranalyse bestätigt und charakterisiert. Für das Docking haben wir das Protein Histon-Deacetylase (HDAC) herangezogen und die Glutaminsäureanaloga identifiziert, die gegen Krebs eingesetzt wurden. Dabei wurden von 10 Glutaminsäureanaloga 6 Analoga mit besserer Wirksamkeit ermittelt. Die synthetisierten Analoga wurden sowohl in vitro als auch in vivo auf ihre potenzielle antineoplastische Aktivität untersucht. Die in-vitro-Aktivität wurde an fünf menschlichen Zelllinien getestet, darunter menschliche Brustkrebszellen (MCF-7), Leukämiezellen (K-562), Eierstockkrebszellen (OVACAR-3), menschliche Kolonadenokarzinomzellen (HT-29) und menschliche Nierenkarzinomzellen (A-498). Die In-vivo-Aktivität wurde an weiblichen Swiss-Albino-Mäusen gegen das Ehrlich-Aszites-Karzinom (EAC) untersucht.
