Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Geschichte Deutschlands - Erster Weltkrieg, Weimarer Republik, Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Weimarer Republik wurde in ihrer Anfangszeit von zahlreichen Unruhen, hervorgerufen durchdas Handeln der Mitglieder linker und rechter antirepublikanischer Parteien und Organisationenerschüttert, so zum Beispiel durch den Kapp - Putsch im März 1920 und den anschließendenBürgerkrieg im Ruhrgebiet.Betrachtet man den Zeitraum des „Zweiten Dreißigjährigen Krieges' von 1914 - 1945 fällt Gewalt,teilweise als offene kriegerische Handlung nach außen getragen, als bestimmende Konstante auf.Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit soll der Fokus auf die Anwendung dieser durch Mitglieder rechtsextremerOrganisationen1 gerichtet sein, als Beispiele dienen Freikorps, Einwohnerwehren, die SchwarzeReichswehr, der „Stahlhelm' und die Organisation Consul.(...)Weiterhin soll die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Beweggründe und die Herkunft der Täter gerichtet sein.In diesem Kontext stellen sich folgende Fragen: Wie wurde Gewalt überhaupt angewandt? Auswelchen Gründen galt sie als legitimes Mittel und wer waren ihre Opfer?
