Cosmological logic defines matter within a vast system called the universe, composed of galaxies, and within those galaxies, the stars and planets-one of which, for the time being, is the focus of all scientific curiosity because it harbors dynamic biological activity in all its diversity: the planet 'Earth.' Indeed, Earth is the only planet that harbors biological activity that is not only varied but also-and above all-elaborate, complex, and highly developed; this is certainly true of 'Man,' the most complex and highly developed creature in existence; Man alone represents an entire small universe on both the physical and psychological planes; this is the mind-body duality; hence the thematic framework based on these three fundamental questions about human existence: who, why, and how-man. It is by reflecting on this theme of knowledge and understanding of Man-this small universe-that we project ourselves into a multidimensional cosmological universe. The method therefore consists of situating humanity within its immediate and distant environments, as observable through perception.
