Frank Love Letters: Basic Training documents the start of a true love story of Horgie and Peach-Pie as they prepare for him to adjust to military life in 1943. Their story starts with written correspondence between Burleigh Falls, Ontario and Toronto during their courtship in 1941 and continues in July 1943 when Horgie arrived in Brantford, Ontario to start his basic training to serve with the Canadian Armed Forces. Meanwhile, Peach-Pie) is preparing for the birth of their first child and starting a family back home in Toronto. Their story has drawn me closer to loving myself and others. I invite you to read and reflect on something that you are truly longing for, and then do what it takes to get it. Above all, and every day, be loving, be compassionate, and be kind.
