Dieses Buch berichtet über eine Studie, die die Auswirkungen eines Schreibprogramms mit mehreren Entwürfen und gegenseitiger Bewertung auf die Entwicklung autonomer Fähigkeiten und Einstellungen bei einigen jungen ESL-Schülerinnen und -Schülern untersuchte. Insbesondere die Ergebnisse aus zwei Klassen derselben Mädchenschule, von denen eine von einem muttersprachlichen Englischlehrer (NET) und die andere von einem lokalen Englischlehrer (LET) unterrichtet wurde, geben Aufschluss darüber, wie kulturelle Unterschiede die Ergebnisse eines pädagogischen Ansatzes beeinflussen können. Die Implikationen für die weitere Forschung werden diskutiert.
