Um die Informationen über Flechten im Kumaun-Himalaya zu konsolidieren, wurde in diesem Buch der Versuch unternommen, eine systematische Auflistung der in verschiedenen Distrikten der Kumaun-Region vorkommenden Flechten zusammen mit ihren aktuellen authentischen Namen, Zitaten und Basionymien zu erstellen.
