Ce livre analyse le système de vulgarisation rurale au Mozambique, en explorant les voies entre l’accès aux services et l’application des connaissances par les producteurs. À partir des données de l’enquête agricole intégrée (IAI2020) et d’une solide analyse documentaire, l’étude identifie les facteurs qui influencent l’accès aux technologies agricoles et leur adoption, en soulignant les défis structurels, institutionnels et sociaux auxquels le pays est confronté. Elle souligne les inégalités dans le profil des bénéficiaires, les limites de la couverture des services et les lacunes dans la coordination entre les acteurs. Elle propose des recommandations pratiques pour rendre la vulgarisation rurale plus inclusive, efficace et adaptée au contexte mozambicain, dans le but de renforcer l’agriculture familiale, d’augmenter la productivité et de contribuer à la sécurité alimentaire et à la lutte contre la pauvreté dans le pays.
