He earned his BS from Tsinghua University in 1985 and completed his Ph.D. at Florida State University in 1997. Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Lin was a postdoc fellow at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications from 1997 to 1998 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also contributed his expertise as a professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University from 2003 to 2004. Dr. Lin boasts six awarded US invention patents and has authored a peer-reviewed technical book published by Taylor & Francis Publisher. Additionally, he has contributed numerous peer-reviewed technical papers to prestigious journals such as the International Journals of Heat Transfer (ASME), International Journals of Fluids Engineering (ASME), and International Journals of Engineering Mechanics (ASCE), among others.
