La evaluación hidráulica y operativa de la PTAR de la Urbanización Campestre Macadamia en el municipio de La Calera permitió estimar la eficiencia del proceso de depuración de aguas residuales y la determinación de la capacidad hidráulica de la planta de tratamiento; de esta manera evaluar el estado vigente y generar una proyección de funcionamiento adecuada para la población a servir. Partiendo de la necesidad y obligación de realizar el tratamiento de las aguas servidas, se plantea la evaluación hidráulica y operativa por medio de medición, cálculos, toma de muestras y laboratorio del efluente doméstico producido por el conjunto residencial. El contenido de este libro describe y orienta la metodología planteada paso a paso, para la evaluación hidráulica y operativa, con base en la normativa nacional vigente, evidenciando matrices, coeficientes de cálculo y especificaciones técnicas del sistema de tratamiento compacto, comprendido por el proceso biológico correspondiente a: pre-tratamiento, tratamiento primario, tratamiento secundario con cuatro reactores IFAS (Integrated- Film Active Actives Sludge) en dos etapas, clarificador secundario y tratamiento terciario de desinfección.
