Eutropius, qui saeculo IV floruit, historiam Romanam in compendium redegit, ut facile legi posset. Sextus Aurelius Victor, qui saeculo IV et V vixit, historiam Romanam usque ad Constantinum Magnum et Constantium narravit. Sextus Rufus, qui saeculo IV vixit, historiam Romanam ab Augusto usque ad Diocletianum complevit.
