Das Baugewerbe zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Fluktuationsrate aus. Dies kann auf die ungünstigen Arbeitsbedingungen und den Mangel an beruflichen Qualifikationen zurückzuführen sein. Hinzu kommt, dass die Arbeitnehmer keine Stabilität im Unternehmen haben, da sie während der Bauzeit beschäftigt und dann entlassen werden. Der Sektor verfügt im Vergleich zu anderen Sektoren über wenig qualifizierte Arbeitskräfte, was bedeutet, dass die geringe Produktivität zu Produkten führt, deren Qualität geringer ist als gewünscht. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, eine wirksame Schulungsmethodik zu entwickeln, um Arbeitsunfälle im Baugewerbe im Großraum São Benedito in der Gemeinde Santa Luzia/MG zu verhindern bzw. zu verringern. Zur Datenerhebung wurden Fragebögen erstellt und den Bauleitern und Arbeitern vorgelegt, in denen sie Fragen zu ihrem sozialen Profil, zur Organisation der Baustelle, zur Ausbildung und zur Verfügbarkeit von individueller und kollektiver Schutzausrüstung beantworteten.
