Este libro se basa en un marco de alfabetización queer, y ofrece ejemplos para su enseñanza desde pre-kínder hasta terminar la secundaria. A la fecha no existen textos íntegros dirigidos a educadores y teóricos de la alfabetización que puedan ser utilizados y con ello demostrar modelos exitosos en los cuales las y los docentes consiguen afirmar las realidades corporales diferenciadas del (algún) género a través de currículos y prácticas de escolarización.El objetivo de cada capítulo y tema del libro es, finalmente, destacar de qué manera publicaciones de este tipo son capaces de generar conciencia en profesoras y profesores sobre la normatividad de género, y los climas sociales y educacionales violentos e inestables para la generación milenio de jóvenes lesbianas, gays, bisexuales, transgénero, intersexuales, (algún) género, (alguna) sexualidad, de género creativo, y adolescentes en cuestionamiento.
