This book offers guidance about practices that derive their power from elusive or hidden laws of the natural world: astrology, palm reading, fortune telling, the use of talismans and amulets, hypnotism, dream interpretation, and the gift of prophecy. Bô Yin Râ explains that these practices are not necessary for-and should not be confused with-spiritual development. Nevertheless, individuals on the path need to know about these practices because their inner development can be helped, hindered, or even halted by them.  Bô Yin Râ points out that ancient peoples were more aligned with the world of nature and natural laws and therefore able to glean insights that are often looked down on in our scientifically oriented world.  This is not a scholarly or scientific treatise: What Bô Yin Râ presents are insights gained through his unique capacity to probe reality.
