Bis heute haben nur etwa 50 % der Nigerianer Zugang zu Elektrizität. Um die zukünftige Energiekrise in Nigeria zu lösen, ist eine Bewertung des aktuellen Energiewissens der jüngeren Generation wichtig. Es wird eine Politik zur Verbesserung des Energiekompetenzniveaus unter Schülern der Sekundarstufe II empfohlen.
