En raison de l’importance de l’eau pour la vie humaine, il est nécessaire de toujours rechercher de nouveaux moyens de garantir la qualité de cette ressource pour la consommation humaine. Une alternative au traitement conventionnel de l’eau est l’électrocoagulation, un processus qui utilise l’électricité pour oxyder les électrodes du réacteur, réagissant avec les impuretés de l’eau et les faisant coaguler. Une autre façon de diversifier le traitement de l’eau consiste à utiliser différents types de coagulants naturels tels que le Moringa oleifera, qui contient une protéine cationique capable d’accélérer considérablement le processus de coagulation. Une autre hypothèse serait également d’ajouter ce coagulant naturel au coagulant chimique déjà largement répandu et utilisé dans les stations de traitement de l’eau. Ce travail a pour objectif d’évaluer l’association des coagulants Moringa oleifera et sulfate d’aluminium avec le processus d’électrocoagulation, en cherchant à identifier si le processus d’électrocoagulation devient plus efficace ou non, avec l’aide de ces éléments.
