Un esperimento in campo intitolato 'Effetto dell’irrigazione e dei livelli di fertilità sulla crescita, la resa e la qualità della soia estiva [Glycine max (L.) Merrill]' è stato condotto durante la stagione estiva del 2021 presso l’azienda agricola didattica, Dipartimento di Agronomia, College of Agriculture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh. I risultati hanno indicato che la programmazione dell’irrigazione con un rapporto IW/CPE pari a 1,0 ha fatto registrare valori significativamente più elevati di altezza della pianta (30, 60 DAS e alla raccolta), numero di rami per pianta e produzione di sostanza secca. Allo stesso modo, la programmazione dell’irrigazione con un rapporto IW/CPE pari a 1,0 ha fatto registrare valori significativamente più elevati di attributi della resa, componenti della resa e della qualità, come il numero di baccelli per pianta, la resa in semi (1764 kg/ha), la resa in stocchi (2274 kg/ha) e la resa in olio, seguiti dal rapporto IW/CPE pari a 0,8. L’irrigazione con un rapporto IW/CPE di 1,0 aumenta il contenuto di umidità del suolo prima dell’irrigazione e l’efficienza d’uso dell’acqua è minore rispetto alle altre.
