Questa ricerca ha confrontato gli effetti di diversi concimi organici sulla produzione di zooplancton in sistemi di coltura indoor. I concimi utilizzati erano escrementi di pollame, sterco di vacca, bucce di manioca e un controllo. I concimi sono stati aggiunti ai sistemi di coltura in ragione di 57 mg/l e l’esperimento è durato dodici settimane. L’identificazione e il conteggio delle specie di zooplancton in ciascun campione è stata effettuata quotidianamente e sono stati misurati i parametri di qualità dell’acqua.
