L’impatto dei parametri climatici sulla produzione di latte nelle bufale murrah è stato studiato utilizzando i dati mensili della produzione di latte di 379 lattazioni di bufale murrah, nella Dairy Farm, College of Agriculture, Marathwada Krishi Vidhyapeeth, Parbhani negli anni dal 1985 al 2009. L’analisi di correlazione e di regressione multipla è stata utilizzata per indagare le varie fonti di variazione della produzione di latte. Il parto delle bufale murrah non era equamente distribuito in tutte le stagioni dell’anno. È stata studiata l’influenza dei fattori ambientali sul picco di produzione di latte, sulla durata della lattazione e sulla resa della lattazione. Nel lavoro è stata identificata la zona di comfort per l’alta produzione delle bufale di Murrah.
