Cet ouvrage s’appuie essentiellement sur une recherche appliquée dont les principaux objectifs étaient les suivants : 1. Isoler des bactéries rhizobiennes promotrices de la croissance des plantes (PGPR) de la rhizosphère du haricot mash. 2. Déterminer l’effet de la co-inoculation de Rhizobium sp. avec des PGPR sur la croissance, la nodulation et la fixation de l’azote du haricot mash. Au cours de cette expérience de recherche, nous avons conclu que la fixation de l’azote et le rendement du haricot mash étaient améliorés par l’application de PGPR. La réponse du haricot mash était plus prononcée à l’inoculation de PGPR associée à un engrais chimique qu’à l’application d’engrais chimique seul et au témoin.
