Ich muss gestehen, dass ich das Buch ursprünglich auf kleinere Unternehmen ausgerichtet habe, daher auch der Titel, den ich nicht ändern wollte, aber als ich es las und Ergänzungen und Korrekturen vornahm, wurde mir klar, dass die behandelten Themen und die vierzehn dargelegten Grundsätze wirklich auf Unternehmen jeder Größe anwendbar sind, die die großen Veränderungen, die stattfinden und weiterhin stattfinden werden, nicht verstanden haben und in der Vergangenheit stecken geblieben sind; einer Vergangenheit, die erfolgreich hätte sein können, die aber heute der Ballast ist, der sie daran hindert, in die neue Welt der Unternehmen und Unternehmer mit einer globalen Vision und lokalem Handeln einzutreten. Ich habe auch analysiert, dass die vorgestellten Grundsätze, vor allem aber die Form und der Umfang dieser Grundsätze, nicht wirklich auf größere Unternehmen und Großunternehmen anwendbar sind, weil ihre Organisation und die ihnen zur Verfügung stehenden Ressourcen es ihnen erlauben, ausgefeiltere Techniken anzuwenden.
