Os fertilizantes solúveis dissolvem-se facilmente na água e ficam imediatamente disponíveis para as culturas. A aplicação fraccionada de fertilizantes solúveis garante os nutrientes necessários na quantidade certa para obter um rendimento mais elevado com uma perda mínima de nutrientes. Com esta visão, foi realizado um experimento de campo durante a estação kharif de 2013-2014 na quinta de investigação do Departamento de Ciência do Solo e Química Agrícola, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani. O experimento foi realizado num desenho de blocos aleatórios com quatro réplicas e cinco tratamentos compostos por 100%, 80% e 60%. RDF através de fertilizantes solúveis em água por gotejamento, 100% RDF de fertilizantes convencionais por gotejamento (ureia, ácido fosfórico e sulfato de potássio) e 100% RDF de fertilizantes convencionais por aplicação no solo. A dose recomendada de NPK através de fertilizantes solúveis em divisões melhora os parâmetros de crescimento, rendimento e qualidade do algodão Bt.
