Este estudo foi efectuado com o objetivo de avaliar o efeito de diferentes níveis de alho (Allium sativum) e de sementes pretas (Nigella sativa) na dieta da carpa comum Cyprinus carpio L. sobre o desempenho produtivo, alguns componentes das proteínas das células sanguíneas, a concentração de glicose, a concentração de colesterol e a concentração de proteínas totais no plasma sanguíneo. Este estudo foi realizado durante um período de 8 semanas após um período de adaptação de 20 dias, de 28 de setembro de 2013 a 23 de novembro de 2013, no laboratório de peixes do Departamento de Produção Animal, Faculdade de Ciências Agrícolas/Universidade de Sulaimani, região do Curdistão, Iraque.
