Os resultados da presente investigação destacaram claramente o facto de a aplicação de pó de penas e de farinha de penas digerida com 100% de RDN ter sido considerada a melhor devido ao seu teor de azoto mais elevado, bem como à relação C : N mais baixa. Entre todos os tratamentos, o pó de penas e a farinha de penas digerida com 100% de RDN (120 kg ha-1) aumentaram o rendimento, melhoraram a composição nutricional das plantas de milho, bem como as propriedades do solo.
