The central theme of this work is the pedagogical strategies in the distance learning modality a look at the Spanish course in the Distance Learning (Distance Learning) modality. The general objective was to analyze the pedagogical strategies adopted in the Spanish course in the teaching-learning process in the distance learning mode. The specific objectives are to know the pedagogical strategies regarding virtual resources and the student’s follow-up process; to identify teacher / tutor skills as guiding elements of the professional in the educational area; to verify the aspects that involve pedagogical mediation in distance education focusing on the tutor skills and the motivation for student learning in this process. For this study, a bibliographic and field research was carried out with a qualitative approach and the application of questionnaires. The subjects of the research were 03 (three) teachers from Universidade Aberta do Piauí - UAPI polo de Água Branca-PI. The theoretical basis was based on the studies of Mizukami (2003), Brazil (2005), Oliveira (2010), among others.
