How to overcome a strictly economic and pragmatic view of entrepreneurship in order to conceive of an entrepreneurial education that encompasses the human being in its entirety is the main objective pursued by Marcos Meireles throughout this work. To this end, Meireles draws on the field of logotherapy, an area of psychotherapy initiated and developed by Austrian psychiatrist and philosopher Viktor Frankl (1905-1997). Logos, broadly understood as the meaning that each person gives to life, takes center stage in this reflection, making it possible to move beyond a reductionist view of entrepreneurship, which is generally related to materiality. The proposal to reflect on the entrepreneur as a whole person guarantees this work originality combined with theoretical refinement in the field of logotherapy, Meireles’ field of research since his graduation in Philosophy until his doctoral studies.
