Ce livre est basé sur des recherches pionnières que j’ai menées entre 2014 et 2018 dans ce domaine en Inde. Je suis heureux de constater que, depuis lors, le gouvernement indien s’est penché sur ses préoccupations en matière de développement en ce qui concerne l’économie bleue. L’équipe du Dr Alok Tripathi, ASI, a commencé à explorer le patrimoine culturel subaquatique appelé Dwarka, datant cette civilisation de plus de 9000 ans, comme le suggèrent mes recherches. La définition de l’économie bleue basée sur l’eau a subi plusieurs changements au cours de son cheminement vers la cristallisation. Depuis son lancement par le Dr Gunter Pauli en 2009, lorsque le champ d’application ne concernait que l’économie basée sur l’eau, jusqu’à sa compréhension actuelle de la croissance inclusive et du développement durable, l’économie bleue a progressé à travers des changements de paradigme comparables.L’Inde est un leader mondial émergent. L’Inde est un leader mondial émergent. Elle doit porter son économie bleue à un niveau beaucoup plus élevé grâce à une gouvernance efficace des océans.
