'《中国艺术研究院学术文库:惠新集 庆善红学文稿选编》是中国艺术研究院副院长、中国红楼梦学会会长研究员张庆善关于红学研究的文集,大部分文章都公开发表和出版。全书包括三个部分和附录。上编收录了'作者家世与红学史研究'文稿,中编收录了'《红楼梦》文本研究'文稿,下编为作者撰写的序跋与致辞,附录为作者接受媒体的访谈文章。全书是作者对红学研究作品精华的集大成,是一本的红学研究理论和实践的研究文集,对我国红学研究有着重要的意义。这是一部自选集,在学术上说不上有多大的价值,但这却是我的人生记录的一部分。三十多年来,我一直在中国艺术研究院工作,曾担任过红楼梦研究所所长、红楼梦学刊杂志社主编,2004年被选为中国红楼梦学会会长,这些工作经历使得我与新时期红学发展的许多事情有着密切的关系,因此我的一些文章、讲话以及接受的采访等,对了解新时期红学的发展,或许还是有一些价值的。作者简介  张庆善,辽宁省大连人,1952年4月生,毕业于上海复旦大学中文系。1979年调入中国艺术研究院红楼梦研究所,曾担任红楼梦研究所所长,中国艺术研究院党委书记、副院长,中国非物质文化遗产保护中心常务副主任,《红楼梦学刊》杂志社社长、主编,中国红楼梦学会名誉会长、研究员、博士生导师,为国务院批准的享受政府特殊津贴专家。长期从事中国古典小说研究,积极参与推动非物质文化遗产保护工作。编著有《漫说红楼》《话说<红楼梦>中人》等。
