Lo scopo di questa ricerca è stato quello di indagare i livelli di impegno organizzativo tra allenatori maschi e femmine a livello di scuola superiore utilizzando le statistiche descrittive. Questo studio ha analizzato i livelli di impegno organizzativo tra allenatori maschi e femmine a livello collegiale di Division I e III utilizzando la Revised Commitment Survey di Meyer, Allen e Smith (1993) e sette domande sulle caratteristiche personali, utilizzate per misurare l’impegno organizzativo di ciascun partecipante. I possibili allenatori erano 331 (250 = maschi, 81 = femmine) che potevano partecipare allo studio. All’indagine sono state aggiunte ulteriori domande demografiche riguardanti l’età, il sesso, le responsabilità di parentela, la permanenza nell’organizzazione, la permanenza nel mondo del lavoro, il livello di coaching e lo sport allenato.
