Etzioni stellt in seinem Werk ‚Die Verantwortungsgesellschaft’ dar, wie sich eine Gesellschaft, in der soziale Kälte herrscht und die von moralischer Erosion betroffen ist, zu einer guten Gesellschaft entwickelt.Nachdem in dieser Arbeit zunächst das Missverhältnis zwischen dem verantwortungslosen Individualismus und dem Engagement bzw. der Verantwortung für das Kollektiv erläutert wird, wird im nächsten Schritt betrachtet was aus kommunitaristischen Gesichtspunkten eine gute Gesellschaft auszeichnet.Hierzu wird das Konzept der gebunden Autonomie betrachtet, woraufhin das Verständnis von Autonomie und Ordnung im Gegensatz zum individualistischen, zivilgesellschaftlichen und sozialkonservativen Verständnis abgegrenzt wird.Darauf aufbauend wird auf die Bedeutung und Entstehung gemeinsam geteilter Grundwerte eingegangen. Der moralische Dialog spielt hierbei eine entscheidende Rolle und wird aus diesem Grund hervorgehoben, wobei Regeln und Ablaufschritte kurz aufgezeigt werden.Im Anschluss daran wird das moralische Fehlverhalten im Management betrachtet, da dieses als Zeichen eines Werteverfalls in der Gesamtgesellschaft zu interpretieren ist. In diesem Kontext wird die aktuelle Entwicklung anhand kommunitaristischer Gesichtspunkte bewertet und auf Möglichkeiten eingegangen wie das Gleichgewicht zwischen Autonomie und Ordnung erreicht werden kann.Hierbei stehen vor allem Unternehmen im Fokus der Betrachtung. Da sie in der heutigen Gesellschaft eine immer bedeutenderer und einflussreichere Rolle einnehmen, liegt es an ihnen die Diskussion und Reflexion von Grundwerten voranzutreiben.Abschließend werden Möglichkeiten aufgezeigt, wie Unternehmen den moralischen
