Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Theologie - Sonstiges, Note: 2,7, Universität zu Köln (Seminar für Katholische Theologie), Veranstaltung: Eschatologie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Wie ist die Hölle zu deuten und existiert sie wirklich?Um die Höllenbedeutung im Christentum richtig einordnen zu können, gebe ich zu Beginn meiner Hausarbeit eine kurze Einführung in den Begriff „Eschatologie'. Im Anschluss verweise ich in Kapitel 3 auf den religionsgeschichtlichen Verlauf der unterschiedlichen Deutungen der Hölle und stelle neben der Sichtweise der Katholischen Kirche die Positionen von Ludwig Ott, Leonardo Boff und Hans Urs von Balthasar dar. Hierdurch wird bereits deutlich werden, dass es auch Theologen gibt, die das Dogma zur Existenz der Hölle nicht einfach akzeptieren, sondern durchaus andere Ansichten vertreten. Im zweiten Teil meiner Hausarbeit beginne ich mit Angaben zur Biografie Drewermanns. Im 5. Kapitel werde ich dann einen Überblick über die für ihn wichtigen Aspekte der Psychoanalyse und über seine theologische Position geben. Mit Hilfe der theologischen Hermeneutik von Drewermann versuche ich am Ende meiner Arbeit, aus seiner Sicht eine Antwort auf die Frage nach der Deutung und Existenz der Hölle zu finden.
