È stato sviluppato e convalidato un metodo accurato, semplice, riproducibile e sensibile di cromatografia liquida ad alte prestazioni (HPLC SHIMADZU JAPAN FABRICATED) per la stima simultanea di loratadina, metilparabene e propilparabene dalla sospensione di loratadina per la formulazione farmaceutica. Gli intervalli lineari sono risultati essere (r2 = 0,9983) per la loratadina, (r2 = 0,9702) per il metilparabene e (r2 = 0,9985) per il propilparabene. La deviazione standard relativa percentuale per l’accuratezza e la precisione non superava il 2,0%. Pertanto, la precisione è stata eseguita su tre campioni omogenei in una durata di 72 ore. La robustezza è stata eseguita su campioni omogenei da tre diversi ricercatori nello stesso giorno utilizzando la stessa fase mobile. Rivelazione UV (SPD-10A) 254nm. Questo metodo può essere applicato con successo per l’analisi di routine di loratadina, metilparabene e propilparabene in diverse forme di dosaggio. Il metodo utilizzato è risultato lineare, riproducibile, preciso e robusto.
