A Jordânia investiu na tecnologia de computação em nuvem na administração pública em linha para prestar o serviço sob a forma de (Infraestrutura como serviço IaaS) desde 2014. Este estudo visava compreender a influência dos desafios da adoção da computação em nuvem nos serviços de administração pública em linha na Jordânia. A população do estudo é constituída por funcionários de nível superior, intermédio e operacional dos departamentos da administração pública em linha. Foi realizado um método de inquérito exaustivo para abranger a população-alvo. O autor elaborou um questionário para recolher os dados necessários à realização do estudo. Os resultados indicaram que a adoção destes desafios influenciou os serviços de administração pública em linha na Jordânia, sendo o efeito mais significativo o do desafio da integração e da migração de dados. O Ministério das Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação da Jordânia é o principal interveniente e o principal organismo do sector público jordano a desempenhar este papel. O facto é que os actuais sistemas e infra-estruturas de TIC funcionam muito bem numa base autónoma e hermética para as instituições governamentais.
