Whose History é um estudo sobre o impacto dos Padrões de História Americana nos estudantes das Minorias no Minnesota e no resto da nação. Utilizando a lente da Teoria Crítica da Raça combinada com a Pedagogia Crítica, o autor analisa os Padrões de História exigidos no Minnesota e questiona se estes servem ou não para marginalizar os alunos de origens minoritárias, utilizando tanto a deturpação aberta como invisível, a ausência de registo histórico e a representação negativa baseada nas ideologias do Eurocentrismo e do Nacionalismo. Através do estudo destas normas, bem como das entrevistas e dos grupos de discussão, o autor conclui que o racismo continua a afetar a recontagem da História Americana mesmo no século XXI.
