De Drie Gebogchelden is een kluchtig blijspel in twee bedrijven, geschreven door Simon Rivier en gepubliceerd in 1777. Het verhaal draait om drie oude mannen, genaamd Krelis, Jan en Gijsbert, die bekend staan als de ’gebogchelden’ vanwege hun kromme ruggen. Ze zijn arm en hebben weinig te doen, behalve roddelen en kibbelen.Op een dag besluiten ze om een bezoek te brengen aan de rijke weduwe Grietje, in de hoop wat geld van haar te krijgen. Maar Grietje heeft haar eigen plannen en zet de mannen op een komische manier tegen elkaar op. Ondertussen probeert de jonge en knappe Jannetje de aandacht te trekken van de rijke en knappe Jan, wat leidt tot nog meer verwarring en grappige situaties.De Drie Gebogchelden is een typisch voorbeeld van een 18e-eeuws blijspel, vol met humor, karikaturen en sociale satire.
