Le présent travail examine l’influence des croyances sur les histoires migratoires de la minorité hongroise en Autriche. À partir de connaissances théoriques issues des domaines de la migration, de l’acculturation, de la communication, de l’identité culturelle, de la dissonance cognitive et de la psychologie du développement, l’exemple des processus de migration et d’acculturation permet de mettre en évidence l’importance des constructions de la réalité, comment et pourquoi elles changent et quelles possibilités elles offrent aux individus dans les systèmes sociaux. Les hypothèses développées ont été examinées à l’aide de discussions de groupe.
