The global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is expanding daily. Governments around the globe are confronted with multiple challenges related to minimizing the devastating health impact protecting human lives, and ensuring sufficient food supplies and the functioning of services to those most in need. Uganda as part of the global community was not spared, with the Government of Uganda, declaring the pandemic a national disaster, and in many cases in 2020, This affected agriculture both in extension work and food production. Extension services have been limited due to the lockdown as extension workers were not allowed to move freely to where their services are required. The study intended to carry out a study on the impact of COVID-19 on agricultural extension and food production in Nyabikungu Sub County, Rwampara district.
