Este livro aborda e descreve o fenómeno do medo dos professores. Primeiro, uma pesquisa bibliográfica explora até que ponto o tema do medo dos professores já foi investigado, especialmente na região de língua alemã. Em seguida, as áreas de medo e comportamento de stress entre professores são descritas e explicadas teoricamente. O foco está nos processos médico-fisiológicos. Além disso, professores orientadores (n=14) são examinados quanto a componentes de stress e ansiedade. A avaliação é feita por meio de perfis criados individualmente, que descrevem e relacionam todos os participantes. Um caso exemplar completa a investigação. Os resultados são apresentados e discutidos preferencialmente em valores padrão (SW) e valores percentuais (PR).
