Codrus: Treurspel (1784) is een toneelstuk geschreven door Pieter Johannes Kasteleyn. Het verhaal is gebaseerd op de legende van Codrus, de laatste koning van Athene, die zichzelf opofferde om zijn stad te redden van een invasie van de Dorische stammen. Het stuk speelt zich af in het oude Griekenland en volgt de strijd van Codrus en zijn volk tegen de invasie. Het thema van opoffering en patriottisme loopt door het hele stuk heen. Het werd voor het eerst opgevoerd in 1784 en werd goed ontvangen door het publiek van die tijd.
