This book provides an aggressive climate change policy to make Australia or other nations carbon neutral, without a current cost to consumers, and generating massive profits over a few decades. A plan is costed for Australia and the USA to achieve 100%% renewable energy and be carbon neutral in 30 years. These costs will be entirely offset by reduced costs of coal. Profits to Australia of the plan are $2 Trillion over 30 to 40 years. As well as summarising the science, it analyses the skeptical arguments and describes why these are probably wrong. The book describes why carbon pricing approaches such as emissions trading or a carbon tax are ineffective. A plan for a world 100%% renewable energy system is costed with Australia to provide 10%% of this. Comments from prominent Australian politicians include: very valuable, of great interest, comprehensive, well-researched, well-argued and contains policy proposals informative for anyone who is seriously concerned about the future of mankind and our planet.

Freeman was then trying to design a space ship — the Orion — which would be propelled by atomic bo...
