Chronicle of Three Kingdoms Figures/三国人物风云录

Chronicle of Three Kingdoms Figures is the third new work by Song Jie, author of A Study of Key Military Contested Areas and Offensive-Defensive Strategies in the Three Kingdoms. The book is divided into eight thematic sections: 'Wei and Jin Storms (Part One),' 'Wei and Jin Storms (Part Two),' 'Shu Han Heroes and Martyrs,' 'Eastern Wu Outstanding Talents,' 'Diplomatic and Espionage Shadows,' 'Mediocrities of a Chaotic Age,' 'Women of Virtue and Talent,' and 'Comprehensive Discussions of the Three Kingdoms.' It records and comments on rare anecdotes and interesting stories of the late Han and Three Kingdoms periods, presenting true historical traces that differ somewhat from the traditional narrative of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. From a unique perspective, it reveals the character traits of many figures such as Cao Cao, Cao Pi, Sima Yi and his sons, Liu Bei, and Sun Quan, and also offers some analysis and discussion of the wars, culture, and institutions of the time.《三国人物风云录》是《三国兵争要地与攻守战略研究》作者宋杰老师的第三部新著，全书分'魏晋风云（上）'、'魏晋风云（下）、'蜀汉英烈'、'东吴豪俊'、'外交谍影'、'乱世庸才'、'巾帼贤淑'和'三国综论'八个专题，记录和点评了汉末三国的珍闻轶事，呈现出与《三国演义》传统叙事有所不同的真实史迹，并从独特的视角揭示曹操、曹丕、司马懿父子、刘备、孙权等诸多人物的性格特点，对当时战争、文化、制度等亦有所分析论述。Song Jie was born in January 1952 in Beijing.
