Brustkrebs ist ein solider bösartiger Tumor. In den frühen Stadien sind diese Tumoren in der Brustdrüse lokalisiert. In späteren Stadien kann das Tumorwachstum jedoch in das umliegende Gewebe eindringen und sich auf entfernte Stellen und Organe ausbreiten. Das Ziel dieser Studie war es, die Chemosensitivität von Brustkrebszellen mit primärer oder erworbener Strahlenresistenz zu bestimmen. Dazu wurden T47D-Elternzellen (T47D PAR), T47D-invasive Zellen (T47D INV) und T47D-strahlenresistente Zellen (T47D RR) auf Unterschiede in ihrer Reaktion auf Chemotherapeutika untersucht.
