When my son asked me to write a book about why I made the decisions I had made during my life, I found myself reflecting on my decision-making process. Not only did it take me on an emotional journey, but it created an awareness in doing so. Power, politics, ego, status, tradition, and survival all played a part in shaping my life. Looking back, I would not have changed the decisions that I made. Looking forward, I will have a better understanding of why.
